Yan: You have spoken of it before... cannot be rid of a bad thing in life, if always fighting the bad thing. If always have one's mind on resisting the bad thing, then the bad thing is always present... can never release from misery, if always concerned to be rid of misery... the concern, is, itself, a form of misery...
Alo: Yes... if, thoughts, wish to eliminate a thing in life, then, thoughts are wrong. The thoughts, ought to be with a wish to create a good thing in life... nothing else... like cookie jar filled with smelly grapes... fuss and fret all one wishes, but the smelly grapes remain... but, ignore the grapes, and instead insert good cookies... in time, the cookie jar will be full of good cookies... no room left for smelly grapes... similarly, not wish to eliminate bad emotions, but, rather, wish to acquire good emotions... when the heart is filled with good emotions, there will be no room left for bad emotions...
Yan: Very true... and it is odd to me, that I never saw a similar idea within any of the outsiders' systems of beliefs... the outsiders' beliefs generally just say 'do this', 'do that', as if it were possible to simply empty one's self of one's own nature...
Alo: Yes, well-said... one's own emotions, are created by, one's own nature... one's own outward expressions, are enabled by one's own inner nature... if, bad person, able, to eliminate, bad nature, then what would remain? Nothing. Person, would surely die...
Yan: The things that our people do, surely appear peculiar to outsiders... we do not fret about imperfections, we instead choose to strive for perfections... let the imperfections disappear on their own...
Alo: Recognize mistake, then, choose correct way... mistakes disappear... so easy... well, of course, until the next mistake...
Yan: Ha! Yes...
Alo: But, outsiders, some mistakes are never recognized... like, believing emotions are single things... one emotion size fits all... outsiders do not recognize how different things combine to create new emotions... outsiders believe that they can somehow magically express a specific emotion, while yet not changing inner nature... must add new ingredient, harmonize with good ingredient, eventually all ingredients harmonize...
Yan: Mistake... seen within the contrast... outsiders believe that knowledge comes from books... that knowledge is a teaching to follow... but we follow our own hearts... we know that knowledge is mere outside information, not inside firsthand understanding... outsiders believe that they are wise because they read a book, but we think of wisdom as a thing that is gradually acquired through many years of learning and reasoning our own life... outsiders speak of being wise, yet they believe same emotion for everyone... proves the people to not be wise.
Alo: To follow another man's words... also not wise... not wise to follow anything... wise, to follow one's self... give effort to learn... give effort to discern what is real within Nature... possessing correct understanding, then enables correct information, and correct choices... correct choices, enable correct behavior, enable good behavior, enable good emotions... no 'do this, do that'... choose for yourself... if choice is a mistake, then choose to not do the mistake again... that easy...
Yan: Agreed, but, outsiders are unlikely to exert effort... if outsiders were able to exert effort, then there would be many good people... but they do not exist... outsiders appear to be lazy, want to follow what someone else has already said...
Alo: Oh, I found a funny thing in the ancient medicine writings... 'all speaking, it false evil cunning wind, avoid it, have time quiet cheerful'... I smiled... the words so deeply agree with my own thoughts... it is not possible to speak accurately... not possible for words to be true truth... one's inner emotions express one thing, body expresses inner emotions, body aromas express inner emotions, voice tone expresses inner emotions, but words never agree with inner emotions... words, always, 'false evil cunning wind'... all teachings, all, none exempt, are all flawed... simply not possible to speak perfect words, nor possible to hear another person's words, and to then understand what the person really intended... cannot happen... Nature is very clear, that it cannot happen... observing other people, the observation sees that it cannot happen... if the men, who teach beliefs, and who claim of themselves to be aware, if the men were indeed aware, then the men would know that all words are deeply flawed... for a man to teach a teaching of life, and to claim of himself to be the master of the teaching, it proves that the man is not what he claims to be...
Yan: Oh so strongly agreed... same men, teaching how to release hunger... same men, still with hunger of social prestige... same men, standing on stages... same men, desiring veneration... same men, desiring paradise... same men, putting money in their pockets... all frauds...
Alo: That is a good judge of a person's sincerity... look at the person's material possessions... look at where the person speaks... if the person exhibits material interests, then, that person, is not sincere of what he speaks of...
Yan: Oh so very true, and, so very rare to find a man who walks his talk...
Alo: Release from misery... wrong thought... good thought, is, enter beauty... become, beautiful inside... be, good person... good ingredients, harmony... goodness, pervades... no misery...
