One of the most descriptive measures of intelligence is not of what people say and do, but rather the measure is of what the people cannot say and cannot do. Dogs cannot build their own dog houses, mice cannot sanitize their own nests, horses cannot make their own clothes, and normal people cannot mentally control their bodies to agree with their own beliefs.

Most everyone on earth strongly believes that god(s) and/or science created the universe, the earth, and all living things, but no believer respects, honors, appreciates, values, cares for, nor is gentle with the gods' creation.
It is irrational for people to disrespect, hate on, and to destroy their gods' creation.

Everything that is given to the public, will be dirtied, polluted, and destroyed; always. Earth was once a heaven in the sky. It is obvious what humans have done with their heaven, all while humans expect to be given another heaven to destroy.
Most everyone has deep-seated beliefs of gods and sciences, but none of the individuals are able to control their own bodies to agree with the beliefs.

In the past fifty years, microwave pollution has increased over 20-billion times (20,000,000,000+), and will continue to increase until man destroys himself. The normal human has no control over his own mind and body.
Science is popularly believed to be the sole source of all of man's creations, and yet no science believer is able to behave in agreement with his beliefs of science.

Although the evidence is obvious for everyone to see, still normal people deny that they have dishonored and hated on their gods, while the normal people also invent ad hoc pathological science excuses for their mental inability to control their own bodies.

The normal human's mind is schizophrenic with its inability to connect body behavior with one's imagined beliefs.
For over 2,500 years a small number of individuals have publicly spoken of the problem of most people's behaviors not agreeing with the people's beliefs. From Xunzi #5: "Noble child him learning, enter ear, attach heart, spread four limbs, body move calm. Hold-level speak, fluid move, alone able use be standard follow. Insignificant person him learning, enter ear, come-out mouth..."
Normal people are not mentally able to do as the noble child does.
Of all the known 'smartest people on earth' lists, all of the individuals on the lists all had similar beliefs as most everyone else, and all of the individuals' behaviors were not in agreement with their beliefs. None of the individuals on the 'smartest people on earth' lists were smart.
'Zi say: Born wise, him topmost, learned wise, him secondary, things that are simple and obvious, and learned, he is third, things that are simple and obvious, yet not learned, this person be lowest.'
If you are smart enough to recognize what simple and obvious irrational behavior is when told, then you are smarter than over 99% of everyone on earth. If you were able to recognize the simple and obvious behavior, as well as its cause, before being told, then you are smarter than over 99.9999% of everyone on earth. If you are personally striving with earnest to remedy the simple and obvious irrational behavior in one's own life, then you are smarter than 99.99999% of everyone on earth. If an individual has been told of the simple and obvious irrational behavior, and still the individual does nothing to remedy the problem, then the individual is no smarter than the lowest person on earth. Of everyone who is told of man's simple and obvious irrational behavior, the chances of them choosing rational behavior, is all but zero.

It is obvious: normal people's behaviors never reflect the people's beliefs, and thus, normal people have no functioning "critical faculty".
If a person believes of himself to be an intelligent human in possession of a "critical faculty", then his behavior will prove it to be true. Stop believing what books, politicians, teachers, and news reporters tell you to believe. Go outside and look for yourself. Think for yourself. Look and see what is obvious everywhere. There is nothing hidden that cannot be seen, and not seen. Think.
